It got annoying when every time I opened up Crysis, the ads would start. I wasn't able to even skip them with esc or space bar after a while, and I've heard of others having the same problem. The ads take like half a minute out of your time before you can get to the menu.

This will bring you literally right to the menu minus the ESRB notice for 2 seconds.

Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Localized\Video

delete or rename the extensions with the ones starting in Trailer.

I made the extensions .sfd to .sfdz

if anyone knows how to bypass the ESRB Notice ad too, post it but it isn't a big deal.

Definitely not. If they hadn't put in the popup I would have assumed the feature may never be implemented. Instead, they're telling me they just haven't found time for it yet.

Not sure, they call it 'Clipboard' on the man page...

Xclip reinvented, typical *nix. You can integrate it with the normal gnome/kde clipboard as well, I alias xclip as "xclip -sel clip".

Oh, and if x11 forwarding is setup, xclip works across systems too!
